As
one would expect, this years Winterfest turned out to be another great event
hosted at one the great Texas parks. This years Winterfest was held at Six
Flags Over Texas in Arlington. Attendees were treated to a great barbeque
lunch, ERT on Runaway Mountain (both with the lights off an on), a Titan
construction tour, some great speakers, a great presentation by David Lipnicky,
a fun filled game of "Who Wants To Be A Coaster Millionaire" and a
great Titan t-shirt! All of this for only $10! Where else can you
have this much fun in January for $10.
Six
Flags Over Texas was a great host and the GM, Steve Calloway, even donated the
money we paid for food (over $500) to the ACE museum fund! Along with the
great Titan t-shirts provided, Six Flags also provided several door prize item
as well as a couple auction items. Other parks that donated door prize
items were: Cedar Point. Dorney Park. Schlitterbahn, Fiesta Texas,
Astroworld and many others.
