Here's a picture of a Fiesta Texas Superman car that was on display at Six Flags Ohio's big announcement.

03/05/00--Ride is testing and will open on 03/11/00.  I will be at the park on 03/13 to ride it and get several photos.  Look for close up photos of the ride running on the evening of the 13th!

02/27/00--Ride is complete.  Testing should begin soon.  Look for photos of the finished ride on 03/05.

02/19/00--First drop is done and so is the loop!  There are a lot of track pieces laying around the helix area and the mid course brake run was being lowered into place.  No Cobra Roll yet.

02/14/00--Supports for the first drop and cobra roll are going up.  There is a large section cut out of the cliff for what looks like will be where the mid-course brake run goes.  Can see footers up on the cliff for the helix.  There is track and supports everywhere!

01/29/00--Station is being built.  Station track and brake run before station is complete along with a few turns and the 2 twists (corkscrews) near the end of the ride are done.

01/18/00--Lift hill is complete.  Doesn't look like they've started on the drop yet.  Appears to be a steel building structure going up to the left of the lift hill.

01/16/00--Sounds as though Fiesta Texas will be adding a second coaster for 2000.  A Zierer family coaster seems to be planned to go in the Boardwalk area once Superman is complete.  Speaking of Superman I've heard the lift is complete and they are starting on the drop.  I may have some pictures on the 18th.

01/10/00--The lift hill is rising!  Can't tell if the are working on anything else but the lift hill is definitely visible.  It can be seen from 1604 and from La Cantera Parkway.  There was a lot of activity in the area of the park this afternoon.  I must have say at least 10 construction vehicles come and go in the 15 minutes I was in the area.  Dump trucks, cement trucks and flatbeds were everywhere!  There was a crane in the employee parking lot loading track and supports on to a flatbed truck.

12/12/99--Still no track assembled that I can see.  Looks like they are doing a lot of work on the cliff.  I saw an area where it looked like new rock was exposed.  Looks as if there is more track in the parking lot.  Nothing worth taking pictures of.  Next update will be after Christmas (probably the first week in January).

11/29/99--Didn't notice anything obviously new.  Doesn't look like any track has been assembled or any more track has arrived since my last visit.  Saw a cement truck leaving the premises so they are probably still pouring footers.  I probably won't make it back to the park to check out the progress until after Christmas due to other plans for the month of December.

11/15/99--Found it extremely hard to see anything from outside the park.  I don't think there is any track assembled yet.  Heard a bunch of jack hammers and construction equipment in the area of the cliff.  Noticed several pieces of track in the employee parking lot.  The Sky Coaster is still standing (for those of you heard rumors of it being removed).

10/31/99--Still more ground work.  There is now a large hole behind Chaos that contains several cement slabs.

10/16/99--Ground work continues.  There is now construction equipment up on the cliff along with some supports and pieces of track.  A hole is being dug behind Chaos.

10/3/99--A few more pieces of track have arrived.  Ground work in the area behind Chaos, Der Twister, and near Power Surge has started.  There is also a large area up on the cliff fenced off.

9/26/99--Went to the park upon hearing rumors of track behind Lone Star Lil's.  Discovered it wasn't a rumor as I got near the Sundance Theater.  Could see several large supports, catwalk pieces, and a couple pieces of track.  Track appeared to be Giovanola or B&M.  Walked through Crackaxle Canyon trying to get a different view of the track.  At the bathrooms by Rodeo Rider I discovered a piece of track that gave the type of ride away.  It was the station piece for a floorless coaster!
