Serial Thriller Media Day Pictures
(5-26-99)

5/28/99--Serial Thriller opens to the public.

5/26/99--Riders get their first rides on Serial Thriller during SFAW's media event.

5/16/99--Station work continues.  Workers were on top of the lift hill track...couldn't tell what they were doing though.

5/10/99--Track is complete (and has been for a few days).  Station work continues.

4/18/99--Still more supports being added.   Lift hill is now complete.

4/17/99--Several supports being put into place.  Lift hill about half done.

4/3/99--A visitor to this site sent in an update:

I just came back from Astroworld (4/2/99) and I have the latest update on the Serial Thriller if you want to put it up on your page.

When I saw it they had about 3 cranes and tons of construction guys already started on the ride. Two support beams have been put up, and they are beggining to layer the ground with cement base. No site of track being placed anywhere yet. There are two big boards with composite drawings of what it will look like. I live in Houston and I have a season pass so I will probably go again before it opens. I will get some pictures if I can.

Thanks Paul!

2/12/99--Lots of track and supports laying around.  Site work is still being done.  No footers could be seen.
