Theming: Station theming, designed to
resemble an aircraft carrier, by John DeCuir, production designer for the motion picture,
"Top Gun."
Interesting Facts: Structure consists of more than 660 tons of steel. Footers for
the ride vary in diameter from 30 inches to 5 feet with the deepest footers 50 feet in the
ground. Approximately 2,000 yards of concrete used for the foundation. The track is red
and the structure is shadow gray.
