The Mighty Axe, an exciting new thrill ride, swings its way into Knott's Camp Snoopy.  It is the park's second major expansion since its 1992 opening and the first ride addition since 1995.

Construction is complete on this ten-story attraction that literally spins riders head over heels.  The 42-passenger platform soars more than 82 feet in the air and spins in gigantic 360-degree arcs.  The Mighty Axe is the first ride in Knott's Camp Snoopy to take riders upside down.  The Snoopy Bounce moves north next to The Mighty Axe.

"We are excited to be offering such a new and unique ride to our guests at Knott's Camp Snoopy," said Craig Freeman, General Manager of Knott's Camp Snoopy.   "The Mighty Axe will offer even more fun and excitement to families visiting the park."

The Might Axe designed and built by Antonio Zamperla and Company of Venice, Italy, is patterned after the thrill-ride HammerHead at Knott's Berry Farm in California.   Renowned as one of the world's top manufacturers, Zamperla produces special attractions for theme parks worldwide.
